Monsignor John Pereyma Catholic Secondary School celebrates Pride Year-Round

Monsignor John Pereyma Catholic Secondary School has been blessed to witness the raising of the Rainbow Flag at their school, something that COVID prevented last year. All the members of the QSA, also called the Alphabet Rainbow Club, were able to do this together. 

 

Pereyma had a week dedicated to school-wide queer positive music before the mornings' final bell, a week dedicated to reading the profiles of notable 2SLGBTQ+ personalities during morning announcements and the display of the various 2SLGBTQ+ flags, with descriptors, in our main foyer. This year has resulted in much more positivity and has seen an increase in those willing to come out to our group.
